I grew up in the small South Dakota town of White Lake but have called Yankton home for almost three years now. I am the Executive Dieector of Foundation for Avera Sacred Heart Hospital. Before recently moving to this position I was the Strategic Marketing Manager and perform a wide array of duties and responsibilities on a daily basis including market planning, website development and management, and performance excellence through the Baldrige criteria.
In my life outside of work, I am a mother of three boys ages 8, 6 and 2 who keep me on my toes. They are involved in everything from soccer to piano to gymnastics, so it seems we are always on the go somewhere. When I’m not learning how to throw a spiral or creating the latest Ninjago Lego guy, I do manage to find a tiny bit of time for myself.
I also love to read and am a member of the world’s best book club. In addition, I am also a huge University of North Carolina men’s basketball fan. I recently was able to check one item off of my “bucket list” when I went to the UNC-Duke basketball game at Chapel Hill. Even though it didn’t turn out the way I hoped, it was still a once-in-a-lifetime experience!
