I was born and raised in Sioux Falls and came back after earning my bachelor’s degree in psychology from South Dakota State University and my master’s degree in industrial/organizational psychology from Kansas State University.
I hold a lifetime certification as a Senior Professional Resource Manager from the Human Resources Certification Institute. I’m now an employee advocate specialist at Avera Behavioral Health and am attending classes to become a Certified Leader Development Coach. My current focus is on workplace incivility and I often present to groups on eliminating drama and creating a civil workplace.
In my free time, I enjoy gardening, reading, and going for bike rides with my wife of 38 years, Trudy. We have two wonderful children and three grandsons!
